Our History
Perfumes Mauá was founded by Mrs. Léa
Paternos magic hands in 1973. She had a great passion for perfumes
and had a special talent for manipulating raw material used in fine
perfumery. While trying to improve her secret formulae Mrs. Léa
discovered a wonderful new fragrance, which she called Mauá
Vert. Everyone loved the perfume and it was an instant sensation.
Feeling that this new fragrance had a special quality Mrs. Léas
husband, Mr. Primo Paterno, began production of this perfume at his
own home. As demand was increasing to overwhelming proportions, and
consumers were raving over Mrs. Léas Lavender, Mr. Primo built
a new modern factory in 1990. Today our products are distributed widely
throughout Brazil and readily available in most states. The success
of this major and wonderful development was due not only to the quality
of Mrs. Léas Mauá Vert, but also to the ongoing trust
and loyalty that our clients have for our products and services. This
unique and wonderful fragrance - Mauá Vert - is a high quality
Lavender. Lavender is a romantic bush cultivated in the Alps. The
essential oil is extracted from the Lavender flower and it is from
